Footstool / Support Wedge
The HD Deluxe™ Footstool / Wedge is designed to provide extra height that delivers added comfort, stability, leverage. It can even be used to administer personal care.
This versatile stool can be used as a supporting aid under the users feet, hands, and/or legs to provide added height for a multitude of required tasks.
Importantly, we have increased the curvature in the double-horseshoe shape to allow the carer to stand closer or position it around any obstacle to obtain a better posture and placement for the user. Users can use the HD Deluxe Footstool with a range of static / recliner chairs and wheelchairs for repositioning and sling fitting as it creates a gap under the legs allowing the carer to correctly fit and align the sling with ease. Is it also excellent for use around a toilet, as it provides a safe platform to stand on whilst seating, which naturally helps the bowels to open. For sit to stand transfers, the extra height the wedge provides helps to reduce the pressure underneath the thighs.
Unlike many similar footstools, ours also comes with a removable zip on/off cover as standard.
Overall, the HD Deluxe™ Footstool and Wedge provides a safe platform to place feet or hands on whilst seated or in a lying position providing an versatile and well-rounded support.
