The Mini Rollboard is our shortest rollboard. It was originally designed for urology/gynaecology and emergency/recovery departments. But its versatility means their popularity goes way beyond that now.
Because they only support the upper body during lateral transfers, stopping just below the coccyx, they are perfect for operations involving the Trendelenburg position. But just as helpful, (and far more simply), they are also great if it is just storage that is your issue. Providing your patient’s legs can be supported by other means, the Mini’s flexibility is hard to beat. As a result carers, or departments such as day surgery, radiology, and imaging, are using them daily.
Technical
The nylon cloth on the Mini Rollboard moves freely around the board like a tank track. This means users can smoothly slide their patients from one lateral surface to another in a perfectly controlled manor. The cloth is robust, tear-resistant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and flame-retardant. So be reassured that with three year warranty (including excessive use) purchasing the mini board is a safe investment.
And please don’t be misled by the Mini Rollboard’s small 0.89kg stature. Its 50cm girth and 350kg safe working load make it ample for most adults – and capable of bridging a gap of up to 20cm. So ideal for bed to table/trolley transfers.
We recommend pairing your Mini board with the Transatlantic disposable covers and particularly useful Transatlantic organiser.
If you need more advice on the Transatlantic mini non-folding rollboard, please get in touch with our Technical Team. We will be delighted to help.
