Do you struggle to slide x-ray cassettes or digital image panels behind or underneath your patients when taking mobile x-rays? If so, this X-Ray Insertion Tube can help. The insertion tube makes it easy for radiographers and supporting staff to insert x-ray plate holders, especially in busy environments, like intensive and critical care units.

The X-Ray Plate Insertion Tube is a key part of our X-Ray Insertion System, which also includes a Quilted X-Ray Cassette Cover and a pair of Deluxe Extension Straps. This simple but effective system allows the radiographer and an additional member of staff to insert x-ray cassettes with x-ray covers without disrupting the patient. Staff no longer have to log roll or sit patients forward and can instead insert cassettes with just two members of staff, instead of three.

The X-Ray Plate Insertion System is available in two sizes to fit both cassettes and the newer digital detectors – both washable. Alternatively, we also offer patient-specific X-Ray Plate Insertion Tubes for radiography departments that prefer to dispose of equipment between procedures to increase patient throughput.
