The Car Assist Pack helps users to get into and out of cars with greater ease and comfort.

Hospital Direct’s Car Assist Pack is an ideal car mobility aid for those who need help getting in and out of cars, patients who require support during rehabilitation and carers who offer physical support for their patients or family members.

Hospital Direct stocks two varieties of the Car Assist Pack: an Unassisted pack for those who only need a little help when getting in and out of vehicles independently, and an Assisted pack for those who require support from a carer, friend or family member. The packs contain all of the car aids that you need in one handy carry bag, designed for easy transportation.

This Unassisted Pack is designed for use by a single person, containing a car slide, handy bar, leg lifter and a door strap to help you get in and out of your car. Meanwhile, the Assisted pack is designed for use with support from a carer, containing a kneeling pad for the carer, door strap, leg lifter, handy bar and car slide.

NOTE: the Car Slide must be removed before the car starts to move. If you are unable to remove it, it should not be used.
