These patient-specific transfer belts make it possible for patients to sit, stand and walk with the assistance of a single carer. Whether patients need support at home, in hospital or in care settings, a supportive transfer belt makes getting from a to b achievable.

Hospital Direct manufactures these comfortable transfer belts in its Shropshire premises, combining an anti-slip inner lining with breathable materials and padding to ensure patient comfort. This way, patients can feel secure while regaining their mobility. The design also features ergonomic handles that enable caregivers to hold the client/patient close without having to grab their clothes. The handles help carers to maintain a safe posture while supporting patients.

After use, carers can dispose of these single-use belts to reduce cross-infection in high-risk areas. Patient-specific handling belts also avoid laundry losses, which are common in medical settings.

The Disposable Handling Belts offer the same support and comfort as our Deluxe Handling Belts and cost less than £10 each. Hospital Direct stocks the patient-specific belts in packs of 10.
