SLIDE SHEETS / GLIDE SHEETS
Hospital Direct’s Disposable Turning Slide Sheets offer the latest in glide sheet innovation to improve patient and carer safety.
These Slideezi® Turning Slide Sheets are widely used across many sectors where staff perform patient lateral transfers and manoeuvres. These sectors include A&E, operating theatres and radiology units, to name a few. The sheets are also useful in organisations where caregivers turn patients from side to side, such as surgical wards, oncology wards, elderly care wards and care homes. No matter your sector, these glide sheets offer the ease of slide required to perform seamless patient transfers.
The glide sheets offer a new, updated design that builds on the tubular slide sheet. These sheets are longer, and our manufacturers sew the sheets along the long edge, leaving the short edge open. This updated design offers excellent clinical outcomes for patients and improves safety handling for staff.
We manufacture and independently test the slide sheets locally in the UK, ensuring absolute strength and durability. The versatile sheets use advanced Slideezi®️ fabric, which offers a specially designed weave and construction to ensure world-class quality. Thanks to Slideezi®️, patients can now improve their independence, and some organisations can reduce staffing requirements (provided they complete a risk assessment).
Our Slideezi® Turning Washable Slide Sheets are available in a variety of colours and seven sizes. Bespoke sizes are also available upon request – get a quote to learn more. Alternatively, we also stock Washable Turning Slide Sheets.
