ONE-WAY SLIDE SHEET / ONE-WAY GLIDE SHEET
Hospital Direct’s cushioned Glide and Lock is the ideal one-way slide sheet solution for patients who struggle to sit up in bed.
Patients who need a helping hand when it comes to sitting up in bed will love this innovative Glide and Lock. They can either use the one-way glide sheet independently, or a carer can help them slide into a sitting position and apply the sheet’s locking mechanism, so they don’t slip back down again. What’s more, this model includes padding for maximum comfort over long-term use.
Carers can insert the slide sheet before the patient gets into bed. Alternatively, they can unroll the sheet underneath the patient for use when they are already in bed. Either way, the sheet’s slippery finish will make repositioning easier than ever, and the anti-slip panel will help patients stay in their comfortable position when ready.
This padded Glide and Lock for use in bed use is one of many solutions in the Glide and Lock range. This range also includes models with an all-over anti-slip coating. If you need more advice on finding a slide sheet solution, please get in touch with our Technical Team. We will be delighted to help.
