ONE-WAY SLIDE SHEET / ONE-WAY GLIDE SHEET
One-Way Slide sheet / One-Way Glide SHeet
Hospital Direct’s Glide and Lock for chairs – a one-way slide sheet with handles – allows carers to help patients sit back without slipping down.
If your patients struggle to sit back far enough in chairs and/or wheelchairs or often slip down, our Glide and Lock solution can help. Carers can place this one-way glide sheet on a patient’s wheelchair or chair before use – or insert the sheet under a patient when they are already in a chair – to slide them into the back of the seat and help them sit comfortably.
The standard, breathable Glide and Lock sheet features handles on both sides so carers can hoist a patient further back in a chair without injuring themselves. The one-way slide sheet also features an anti-slip panel and integral locking mechanism, which helps prevent users from slipping back down once they are in a comfortable sitting position.
We stock this model in two sizes – 38cm x 46cm and 46cm x 54cm – to fit all standard chairs and wheelchairs.
The Glide and Lock for chairs is one of numerous slide sheet solutions in our Glide and Lock range. This range also includes models with an all-over anti-slip coating, wipeclean finish and additional cushioning.
If you need more advice on finding the model you need, please get in touch with our Technical Team. We will be delighted to help.
