Leg Lifter Strap / Legs Into Bed
Hospital Direct’s Rotary Leg Lifter takes the difficulty out of getting into and out of bed for those people for whom it is a problem.
The Rotary Leg Lifter allows caregivers to support a patient’s lower limbs, raise them and swivel them into the bed or trolley. Not only does this uphold patient dignity, but carers can also ensure patients don’t experience any discomfort. On top of this, supporting limbs in this way is much safer for caregivers and reduces the risk of them being injured.
This ingenious device uses a rotary disc, which is secured under a quilted top panel, to help carers effortlessly move patients’ limbs into bed. A patient can sit on a bed with their feet touching the floor and the caregiver can then raise the patient’s legs and swivel them into bed. The device also works when patients need to get out of bed.
This product, however, will not reposition a person in the middle of the bed. If you need this for the person you are caring for we recommend considering the Easy Leg Turner. Whichever solution you opt for, you can have peace of mind that we manufacture all our Rotary Leg Lifters and Easy Leg Turners in our Shropshire England factory, where we ensure the highest attention to detail to maximise quality.
