X-RAY CASSETTE COVER / X-Ray Sleeves
Hospital Direct’s X-Ray Insertion System makes it easy to slide an x-ray cassette behind/under patients.
Our x-ray cassette and insertion systems reduce handling risks associated with taking mobile x-rays, especially in intensive and critical care units. If your staff lift patients forward to take x-rays, or if they need to take x-rays without disturbing patients in any way, this product may be just what your department needs.
The washable, radiolucent system combines a quilted x-ray cassette cover, a double-slippery insertion tube and a pair of deluxe extension straps. The x-ray cassette cover uses ultra-soft materials to ensure your patient remains comfortable while you attach the insertion tube and straps. Meanwhile, the slippery insertion tube makes it easy to slide the x-ray cassette under your patient and uphold their comfort. This way, you can reduce handling risks associated with mobile x-rays.
No longer will you have to log-roll or sit patients forwards. Now, the whole procedure is simple and requires only two, instead of three, members of staff – including the radiographer.
Watch the product video to see how this system could change the way you work in intensive and critical care units.
Hospital Direct stocks the X-Ray Insertion System in two sizes – 40 x 50 cm and 50 x 60 m – to fit all x-ray cassettes and the newer digital detectors. Alternatively, we also stock a Disposable X-Ray Plate Insertion System.
